I would've read this book from start to finish if I didn't have other things that got in the way. The stories were mostly funny--actually hilarious--but then some were filled with conflict over simple day-to-day personal situations people get into. Not dangerous situations, but actually funny in an odd-ball, real-to-life, sort of way. The author did a good job describing the stress, panic, and surprise of personal relationships. She put a lot of heart into this collection of short stories and it kept my interest all the way through. Well written and one I'd recommend.Product details

I never thought bad sex was funny before; in her "hands" it is. Mostly. Some stories made me laugh out loud, one I still wish I hadn't read. But that's what reading is for, right?
This is one of the best collection of stories I've read in a long time. Ms. Wilson's humour is on spot and incredibly charming. Her mixture of outrageousness and self awaking in each story made me laugh and cry at the same time. I highly recommend this book!!!
You will thoroughly enjoy these tails of crazy and creative misfortune. Kudos to the author and to all that contributed.

Hilarious, cringe-worthy, and even poignant in places, this book gives us the real scoop on what personal relationships can be. I sat down with it for a bit, and ended up laughing my way through the whole thing in one sitting. I highly recommend!
You know how in romances the couple always has perfect sex like they were made for each other? Well, this is what happens off the page when things go bump and not in a good way!
I found this book rip-roaring hilarious - it's hard to believe these were based on real stories. In some, I laughed my guts out. Others, I cringed in sympathy. Either way, it's definitely worth buying if you enjoy reading about when things go wrong... sometimes terribly wrong!
What I love about this book is that the same time it's giving me bellylaughs with its ill-fated sexcapades, it's offering subtle insights into the differences between men and women, our perceptions of what makes "good sex" good and how far apart those perceptions can be.
One of my favorite cases in point, without revealing too much, is a scene involving a woman's struggle to avoid accidental decapitation, which the man interprets as her thrashing wildly due to his sexual prowess. Though I have never come close to decapitation, that kind of misinterpretation is all too familiar.
The author's tone is neither preachy nor hostile to men, but rather a funny, honest commentary on some of the ways in which we differ. I think many women will relate, and possibly some men as well.
