Memoirs of a TrapStar's Wife takes you on a wild journey into my life. I was just a girl when i first met him, but even at that age I knew he would forever change my life. I managed to do things unheard of in this game as far as a woman is concerned. I did it all, I made money, I drove the big cars, wore the fancy clothes but then it all came crashing down in a instant. I lost all those close to me in my rise to the top and with out them I could not stand in this game. I made a decision to get out before I suffered the same fate as all those I loved. My story didnt end there, I went on to face more trials and tribulations. I am the woman you see today because of all the things I went through yesterday. This is my story, OUR STORY, a story of love, money, cars, clothes, greed, and envy. This is my MEMOIRS OF A TRAPSTAR'S WIFE.

Before I go into why I did not particularly like this book and why I gave it 2 stars, let me just say that I felt Bella's pain from the loss of Kevin, her son, Jasmine, Nicholas, and Mikey. However, I completely struggled to read this story because it was so poorly written. I find it hard to believe that authors are not able to find someone, anyone, who is willingly to read and edit their work for readability. I wanted to stop reading this story as soon as I started reading it. But because this was an actual purchased book, I forced myself to finish it. The writing was so bad that it made it hard to believe the story was real. This could have been an excellent story, but it just did not do it for me. If there is any advice that I would give to the author, it would be to please have a professional editor to review your books before publishing. Unfortunately, I will not read another book by this author because of the poor writing. I wish you well in your life and hope that things continue to get better for you. WoW to know this is actually someone's life Story amazed me I read this in one day this is the true definition of a Page Turner I swear I drop sum tears Reading Tia I mean Bella's Story! Being from Chicago I felt like I was right there with her unlike the fiction stories I read I wanted Kevin to cum back and knowing he wasn't hurt me to! A must read I am a True Book Worm and this is on my Best List!
When I first saw the title of this book I thought it would be the typical hustler's wife theme; however I was completely mistaken. This book was so good and had much detail. I start this book at 11pm and its now 2am. I could not stop reading it. I was so emotional during this book that I cried and cried. This just proves to everyone the glitz and the glamour of the trapstar's life is not that it is all cracked up to be.
Bella gave us a peak into the crazy life that some glamorize and usually don't expose what it's really like. I went through so many motions as I was engrossed in a page by page tale of love, hurt, and so much more than what meets the eye. It wasn't always sweet in the Life of a Trapstar's wife. Thank you Bella for shedding the light to those that think it's all sunshine and rainbows.
Bella thanx for sharing your story with us I know that was probably something hard for you to do but omg when I say this was one of the best books I have ever read I mean it and I guess it really hit me even more because it's based on your real life events I mean this book made me laugh made me cry and some more great read Bella great read five stars all the way
The book began pretty good but so cliche. Dope boy meets troubled girl and takes her out the hood. Then the story becomes confusing. She talks about running the empire and her son then all the sudden she is broke and can't pay her cell phone bill. Where they do that at. But. At the end she has money to put people thru medical school. Ummm. Can I get a refund. Thank You.
Memoirs of a TrapStar's Wife was a different read as it was written from a real perspective. The fact that Bella/Tia shared her love story with the world including the deaths of loved ones, rise of power due to hustling, and the aftermath of it all. The rawness of the feelings that were revealed made me shed a tear or two all while wanting to know what was next. The story is surely a mirror of others who may have been in similar situations. The choices that one makes in life will no doubt affect them and those around them in some way. Good job Ms. Jones and I look forward to your next book.
I wanted so badly to like this book, and I really have thought long and hard about how or what to write in this review. My first issue is the complete and total lack of editing. That right there would have given it a 2 or 3 star review, but it's just that bad. My second issue is that this is supposed to be a true story... and I just don't beleive it. I won't say which parts I'm having a hard time with, because the book deals with some very serious issues and I don't want to risk offending or hurting the author if I'm incorrect. It may be embellished or just her personality, but it didn't read the way I expect a true life memior to read. If it was advertised and sold as fiction, I may have rated it higher, because it would have been entertaining as fiction, but instead I found myself getting frustrated, because it's just too over the top for real life, and too much just doesn't make sense for it to be real.
